Get the most of web browsers
to benefit your business
Extending the functionality of a web browser is possible with small, custom pieces of software that modify the interface, add certain control features, and much more. If your IT product needs to reach its potential users by offering web browser extensions - we can do just that by developing one for you.
Lot of possibilities
Most popular browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera and Microsoft Edge. Think how many customers could use a browser extension with your brand on it. The main goal is to make their lives easier, give them some value with your product. That’s a lot of possibilities.
Because EVERYONE uses a web browser. That’s the main tool to be online and access websites, web apps, and search engines. Basic version of a browser doesn’t offer much more than just writing the www address to open the desired page. But with extensions, it becomes a multi-functional tool that can help the user find shopping deals, organize their day, save interesting information, and much more.
Can be powerful
Lots of companies offer browser extensions to grow their products and keep their clients - by offering them productivity and convenience. Browser extension might seem a small element, but it can be powerful if it can help with everyday tasks.
Who might benefit from
developing browser extensions?
A browser extension gives tons of possibilities to the user, but also to a company that releases such a product. The future is slowly stepping up and presenting all available options - they can, for example, translate foreign texts and read content for visually impaired.
All-purposeSuitable for almost every brand, especially for ecommerce, productivity, video games, and more.
PromotionHelp with reaching more potential clients by offering services that are not available in browsers themselves.
PotentialityIts potential is really wide, but the coding process is much shorter and easier.
ModificationThey can provide a real change with functionalities dedicated to a particular social group.
AccessibilityEasy to access, convenient and comprehensible for all users.
IntegrationIntegrating what’s non-integrable - implementing certain functionalities directly without an access to the core
incorporating Browser Extensions
into their business model
We build extensions using WebExtension APIs that are designed to be compatible with Chrome, Edge and Opera extensions. Extensions written for those browsers should run on Firefox with minimal changes. Minimal because there are differences in both the implementation of the API and the scope of coverage.
The main differences are:
- API namespace - for Chrome and Opera it's chrome.*, for FireFox and Edge it's browser.*
- Asynchronous events - Promises is a standard for FireFox, but for Chrome, Opera, and Edge it's Callback.
- Manifest keys
